21st photo competition of mountaineering photography 2021

HPD “Mosor” is again organizing the 21st photo competition in the area of Climbing, Alpine Climbing, Speleology, and Mountain Flora and Fauna. The completion is international, meaning that competitors can be citizens of Croatia and other countries, it is offered to both amateur and professional photographers, also to all nature lovers and lovers of photography.

The Theme of the competition has following categories:

1. Alpine Climbing, Climbing, and Ski Touring
2. Speleology
3. Mountain Scenery
4. Flora and Fauna
5. Human on the Mountain
6. Black and White Mountain Photography

Authors, entrants of the competition by filling and sending the application confirm the authenticity of the taken photos and take full responsibility for the contents of the taken photos, Photo processing in photo editing programs is allowed to the extent that it does not distort or change the basic meaning of the recorded content. It is not allowed to edit or manipulate the submitted photos that change the originality of the captured scene.

Photos are sent in digital format exclusively to following e-mail:  Ova e-mail adresa je zaštićena od spam robota, nije vidljiva ako ste isključili JavaScript , titled 21ST PHOTO COMPETITION OF MOUNTAINEERING PHOTOGRAPHY 2021, in jpg, jpeg format, individual photos should not exceed 5 MB, and should be at 300 dpi max resolution.Send the photo file and application form via WeTransfer or JumboMail. Maximum of 5 photographs per category can be submitted, and every photo should have a name: Number_Name of Photo_Year Taken.

By applying to the competition, the author gives consent to the organizer to publish the received photos free of charge with the clear signature of the author, EXCLUSIVELY for the purpose of promoting and setting up the exhibition, as well as creating an online catalog of the exhibition which will be published on the website.

Competition begins on Tuesday 24 of August 2021, and the last date to submit your entry is Sunday 31 October 2021.

The best photos will be selected by the following expert jury members:

• Dalibor Prančević (professor of History of Art)
• Valentino Bilić Prcić (Photographer)
• Dražan Mimica (Climber, Speleologist and multi-award winning Photographer)
• Antonio Miše (Photographer)

The exhibition of selected photographs will be held in the Small Gallery of the Museum of the City of Split and the exact opening date will be announced later.
